Draw the retained pool boundary

Ask the designer and pool specialists to identify the pool, its connected systems and the construction that must remain. Do not describe a pool room as an ordinary empty room merely because the pool is out of use.

Clearpath's interior-demolition service concerns an assessed ordinary interior contribution. It does not imply pool waterproofing, shell-integrity assessment, water treatment or commissioning.

ProposalOrdinary removal questionSeparate specialist boundary
Selected surrounding finishesWhich defined surfaces and layers leave?Pool structure, waterproofing and connected installations
Changing-room renewalWhich cabinets, fittings and finishes leave after preparation?Plumbing, new wet-area assemblies and installation

This comparison is illustrative. It does not classify every finish near water as suitable for ordinary removal.

Trace the edge between rooms and pool construction

A finish can continue from a changing room into an adjoining pool area, or meet a specialist waterproofing detail. The responsible designer and receiving installer need to specify the accepted stop point. Do not assume the visible joint identifies the complete assembly boundary.

For room-level layers, use the bathroom-boundary guide. It distinguishes finish removal from backing, repair and replacement work without deciding the pool's construction.

Illustrative retained-pool refurbishment

Imagine a project keeping the pool and its specialist installations while replacing changing-room joinery and selected adjoining wall finishes. The ordinary removal plan marks those rooms and excludes the pool shell and unresolved perimeter details. The specialist team separately defines any work at the pool interface.

The building team determines access, closure and return to use. A smaller ordinary scope does not promise that swimming or other amenity use can continue during construction.

Request the defined adjoining package

Contact Clearpath with the ordinary rooms, retained pool boundary and responsible designer or specialist. For a broader shared-building refurbishment, use the condo common-area guide to connect lobby, corridor and amenity scopes without combining their specialist responsibilities.
