Compare three refurbishment options
| Option | Ordinary interiors to assess | Separate specialist decision |
|---|---|---|
| Visitor-space refresh | Selected lobby, concession and washroom finishes | Connected fixtures and retained venue functions |
| Visitor-route change | Fixed counters and assessed partitions conflicting with the new layout | Design, accessibility and building systems |
| Wider auditorium-adjacent refit | Specifically agreed ordinary finishes and fittings | Seating systems, rigging, projection and acoustic assemblies |
Clearpath's commercial strip-out service does not imply stage machinery, rigging, projection commissioning, acoustic performance or heritage-conservation capability.
Illustrative visitor-space plan
Follow an imaginary route from the entrance through a lobby, past a concession counter and towards washrooms and the auditorium doors. Mark the counter for assessment, selected lobby finishes for renewal and the auditorium boundary as retained. That plan describes an ordinary visitor-space package without including the performance systems beyond it.
A second design changing the concession position adds surrounding floor and ceiling interfaces. Its connected equipment needs responsible trades before adjacent ordinary removal is released. These are illustrative comparisons, not Clearpath venue projects.
Identify attached fittings and specialist assemblies
Loose furniture, displays and operator equipment need destinations. Fixed seating, acoustic linings or technical installations require the appropriate provider's assessment before anyone assumes they are ordinary removable fit-out. Retained significant fabric also needs its own professional direction.
Use wall and ceiling removal for the ordinary component discussion. The recording-studio fit-out guide provides another example of separating ordinary interiors from specialist acoustic construction.
Define the next contractor's handover
The receiving team identifies repairs, new finishes and system work after removal. A stripped lobby is not an approved reopened venue. Management and the project professionals decide access, closure and return to use.
For shared washrooms, the cubicle-retention comparison helps define their separate finish and fitting boundaries.
Request a bounded venue assessment
Contact Clearpath with the affected visitor areas, proposed design and authorised project lead. Identify specialist installations, retained features and unresolved decisions. The assessment should address ordinary removal within established capability, without implying institutional qualifications or a guaranteed performance-space result.
